I have looked to Hattori's work because the materials being used are similar to the materials I have used in my project and it is interesting to see similar works that don't incorporate the body. The bright colours used within Hattori's work have correlated with the colours that I have been using, however this is not a conscious choice as I have been using scraps of materials from friends. Although I have been limited to material choice, I think the bold colours in Hattori's work have inspired me to become more inclined to use brighter colours within my own work.
