I have found Judy Tadman's rope sculptures interesting, particularly her most recent sculptures which depict vague human like figures in an array of different poses. Tadman has captured the essence of the human body by hinting at it, the figures have become figures without having specified limbs or a head. This is something that I have found to be an interesting area within my own work, often I have found that the sculptures I make become human before I have intended. For some sculptures I have allowed the piece to allure to the idea of a human figure without adding the intended limbs.
