“She did not express herself in one signature style. The unpredictability of her works evolution, its ever-changing materials and resulting forms, and its continual oscillation between abstraction and figuration, made her art difficult to define.” (Müller-Westermann. 2015)

I don’t associate my own work with a particular movement or style, I think this is partly because I am still experimenting within the medium of sculpture; of which I am still new to. I also think partly it’s because I have been influenced by Bourgeois’ own unique style and way of working.
