This critique included the works of Bethany Jackson, Paige Phillips, Kayleigh Hardy and Nicole Cardozo.

The work presented by Paige Phillips and Bethany Jackson was a large collaboration painting featuring a face staring out to the viewer surrounded by images associated with nature including birds, flowers and drips of paint in colours reminiscent with the tones in nature.

The works of Nicole Cardozo were four paintings of dreamlike landscapes. The paintings were medium size and painted using a blend of vibrant colours that blend into softer tones.

The works of Kayleigh Hardy included three paintings based on the depictions of figures and/or faces. The first was a large painting made up of two halves, one side was a black and white skull and meeting on the other side was a girls face. The colours used for the girls face are quite dark and have an undertone of grey, this makes the piece feel darker and more sinister. The second piece was a much smaller depiction of a girls face, this piece was made using coffee to paint with. The face was missing a mouth and eye and the nose is more suggested than painted. I found this piece the most interesting as it was much more expressive. The third piece was a creature resembling a bird with a human face, the creature appears entangled in balloons and stares out at the viewer.
